Originally, the final destination was changed to the Ukrainian border at the request of the Dutch Ministry of Defence. But now, DoLadu Mental Health veterans will take over the march at the border and continue all the way to Kyiv, adding 600 km to complete the full 2,600 km journey.

One Mission
Supporting Veterans, Raising Awareness
On June 1, 2025, four active-duty Dutch soldiers and four Ukrainian veterans set off from The Hague to the Ukrainian border on a 2,000-kilometer march.
Mid June, 2025, three Ukrainian veterans will continue the march from the border, running 600 kilometers to Kyiv. Participants will cover 120 kilometers per day, each carrying a 12 kg backpack symbolizing the psychological burden veterans carry.
Where Your Support Goes:
All funds raised during the march across Ukraine will go toward psychosocial rehabilitation for veterans through the DoLadu Mental Health project.
Funds raised during the European march from The Hague to the Ukrainian border will be allocated to:
• €24,500 — 1,000 CAT tourniquets
• €20,000 — medical evacuations: treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian veterans in the Netherlands
• Psychological support for Ukrainians with PTSD — Lisova Pollyanna Center
• Raising awareness about PTSD
• Other medical assistance
• €5500 -psychological support for Ukrainians undergoing treatment in the Netherlands - DoLadu Mental Health
*The composition of aid may change depending on the dynamics of fundraising and needs in Ukraine. However, it will remain focused on medical assistance and mental health support for Ukrainian service members. A detailed report will be published after the project’s completion.

Robin Imthorn is a Dutch marine, endurance athlete, and author of Levensvuur. Having faced PTSD himself, he is dedicated to breaking the stigma around trauma, especially for veterans and first responders.
Through extreme endurance challenges, Robin raises awareness and funds for mental health. In 2021, he ran five marathons in five days. In 2022, he completed a 25-hour speed march with 45kg. In 2023, he conquered 250 km in the Namibian desert.
For Robin, resilience is not just personal—it’s about lifting others up.
