Rebuilding Rehabilitation in Ukraine
"Netherlands For Superhumans" – a Dutch-Ukrainian initiative to strengthen Ukraine’s rehabilitation system.
This project is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Ukraine Partnership Facility (UPF) programme, implemented by RVO, and includes:
A new modern rehabilitation center in Dnipro, Ukraine, supporting 500+ patients annually - Opened in June 2025
Trainings for 384+ Ukrainian medics with help from Dutch experts - Ongoing
Bringing 3D technologies in medical rehabilitation of Ukraine - Ongoing
Boost the economy by creating jobs, reintegrating people with disabilities, and helping families return to work

This project is funded by the Ukraine Partnership Facility (UPF), a programme from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency commissioned by the Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs. UPF supports damage repair and reconstruction projects for the public and private sectors, among others helping the Ukrainian medical system cope with the overload.
